Thaxted Festival 2021 took place between 24 June and 4 July with two long weekends of music in Thaxted’s historic parish church.
Our audiences were delighted to be back enjoying live performances once again, and many of our artists were performing to an audience for the first time in a year and a half. With smaller ensembles and reduced audience capacity, but with many sold-out events, we were able to ensure a relaxed return to Festival concertgoing.
Our 2022 season will run over four weekends from Friday 17 June to Sunday 10 July.
Our autumn recital will take place on Sunday 17 October 2021 at 3pm in Thaxted Parish Church, with leading young pianist Iyad Sughayer. Tickets will be offered first to Thaxted Music Lovers, and a link will be posted here in September for general booking. Please see below for a link to Thaxted Music Lovers membership.
